STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK (2026–2030): THE RESILIENCE ENGINE
Guided by our HDP Nexus Theory of Change, IRCA’s strategy over the next five years is designed to break the cycle of crisis in Southern Somalia. We are moving beyond isolated projects to a systems-based approach where humanitarian, development, and peace building efforts reinforce one another.
OVERALL STRATEGIC GOAL
• To contribute to a climate-resilient Somalia where displaced and marginalized communities in Somalia live with dignity, agency, and sustainable self-reliance by 2030.
• To achieve this goal, IRCA will operationalize four interlocking strategic pillars. These pillars act as the gears of our “Resilience Engine,” driving communities along a trajectory from immediate survival (Cope) through structural adjustment(Adapt) to long-term stability (Thrive)
